A 6th Grader at Seoul Gadong Elementary Tests Positive for COVID-19... School Attendance Suspended Until Next Month 5
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyo-jin] Songpa-gu, Seoul, announced on the 29th that a 6th-grade student at Gadong Elementary School tested positive for the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
The student's mother visited the Rapachiyu Prayer Center in Nowon-gu, Seoul, then experienced symptoms and was finally confirmed positive yesterday.
Subsequently, the student also developed symptoms such as a sore throat and tested positive after examination.
As the student is in 6th grade of elementary school, they were not attending in-person classes, but it was found that they attended nearby Taekwondo and English academies.
