[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jihwan] The price of Bitcoin, the world's largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization, is on the rise, approaching 11.5 million KRW in the domestic market. The overseas market is also recording around $9,513.
According to the cryptocurrency exchange Bithumb on the 29th, as of 2:08 PM, Bitcoin was priced at 11,476,000 KRW, up 0.17% (25,000 KRW) compared to 24 hours earlier. The trading volume for the day was approximately 63.3 billion KRW.
Most other cryptocurrencies also showed an upward trend. Ethereum (3.90%), Ripple (0.63%), and EOS (2.24%) all increased.
Cryptocurrencies are also rising in overseas markets. According to the cryptocurrency market data provider CoinMarketCap at the same time, Bitcoin was up 3.62% from 24 hours earlier, priced at $9,513.35.
