On the 28th (Korean time), the Spanish media outlet 'AS' reported, "During a talk show where Gaspart discussed various topics, he said regarding the resumption of La Liga, 'If Real Madrid had been in first place, they would have recognized the championship and ended the season.'"
Gaspart also asserted, "There is a lack of respect for Barcelona in La Liga, and there is a strong anti-Barcelona sentiment."
La Liga was suspended in March due to the impact of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
Barcelona is currently in first place with 58 points (18 wins, 4 draws, 5 losses), 2 points ahead of Real Madrid (16 wins, 8 draws, 3 losses).
After the Spanish government allowed the league to resume, the La Liga office is considering a restart date targeting mid-June.
