Gyeongnam Robot Land Theme Park to Reopen on the 4th of Next Month... 50% Discount
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Kang Woo-kwon] The Gyeongnam Robot Land Foundation announced on the 29th that Robot Land Theme Park will be closed for three days from June 1st for handover and facility safety inspections following the selection of a new operator, and will reopen on the 4th.
The newly selected Robot Land entrusted operator is Children’s Grand Park Amusement Company, which operates amusement facilities within Seoul Children’s Grand Park.
Currently, the handover process is underway regarding all necessary matters for operation, including the priority hiring of existing operator employees and registration of business operator changes.
The foundation explained that together with the new operator, admission fees will be discounted by 50% until the end of June, and they will improve inconveniences experienced by visitors. To increase resting areas, 100 additional parasols will be installed, and payments can be made via Zero Pay and local love gift certificates. Additionally, an entrance fee will be newly introduced in July so that visitors can come without feeling burdened even if they do not ride the attractions.
To prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19), the foundation will not operate indoor exhibition and experience halls throughout June, and will do its best to ensure a safe and pleasant amusement facility by conducting facility inspections and regular disinfection (three times daily), checking visitors’ temperatures upon entry, and enforcing social distancing among users.
