On the first day of the second phase of school reopening on the 27th, one third-year high school student at Oseong High School in Suseong-gu, Daegu tested positive for COVID-19, and the main gate of Oseong High School was closed off that morning.

Daegu Metropolitan Office of Education announced on the morning of the 29th that it received the test result from health authorities.
At Oseong High School, following the confirmation of a positive case in a third-year student, Mr. A, on the first day of school reopening on the 27th, 34 students and staff were tested. Except for one person who showed no response due to a sample collection error, all others tested negative. Additionally, 30 people who had contact with Mr. A outside of Oseong High School students (12 from five other schools, 2 out-of-school youths, and 16 family members) also tested negative.
