Chinese AI Company Donates Thermal Imaging Temperature Equipment to Daegu City

(CEO Seukan), a leading Chinese AI and big data company, held a donation ceremony for thermal imaging devices, a quarantine equipment, at Daegu City Hall, attended by Mayor Kwon Young-jin and Song Jun-gi, Chairman of the Daegu branch of the Korean Red Cross.
The AI thermal imaging equipment donated this time is an advanced device capable of facial recognition to track individuals with fever, and can measure body temperature using infrared even for people who are moving or wearing masks.
Sa Yoon-gyeom, Vice President of CUE Korea, explained that it can accurately measure temperature within an error range of 0.3 degrees from 10 meters away, and can measure the temperature of 20 people simultaneously.

Seukan, Chairman of CUE Korea, said, "We are very honored to donate CUE's AI quarantine equipment to Daegu, which is wisely overcoming the COVID-19 crisis," and Mayor Kwon Young-jin responded, "We will use the donated thermal imaging devices effectively to proactively block the inflow of COVID-19 infections and continue to uphold Daegu's reputation as a model city for quarantine."
