This year's project districts, Maekpo1 District and Dongsan1 District, are natural settlement areas where discrepancies between the cadastral maps and actual conditions frequently caused complaints about boundaries and surveying.
The two project districts received designation and approval from Jeollanam-do last month, completed land status surveys and single-lot surveying by mid-May, and are preparing for boundary consultations starting next month.
The Landowners' Council resolved agenda items including attendance at land status surveys, installation of boundary markers, and criteria for calculating adjustment payments due to area increases or decreases. It was decided that adjustment payments for the project districts would be calculated based on individual publicly announced land prices, and one member was elected by vote for each district's boundary decision committee.
