Three Additional COVID-19 Cases in Seoul Area... 100 Related to Itaewon Clubs

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Jo In-kyung] The number of confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) related to the Itaewon club cluster infection in Seoul has reached 100.
As of 10 a.m. on the 20th, the Seoul Metropolitan Government announced that the total number of COVID-19 confirmed cases in Seoul increased by 3 from the same time the previous day, reaching 753.
All new confirmed cases were classified as related to the Itaewon club cluster. Accordingly, the number of Itaewon club-related patients in Seoul increased from 97 the previous day to 100. This exceeds the number of patients (98) from the Guro-gu Korea Building call center cluster infection, making it the largest COVID-19 cluster infection in Seoul.
In the case of Samsung Seoul Hospital, no additional confirmed cases were reported beyond the 4 nurses confirmed infected until the previous day.

So far, among the confirmed COVID-19 cases in Seoul, 592 (78.6%) have been declared recovered and discharged, while 157 (20.8%) are receiving isolation treatment.
