L'Or?al Selects 3 Domestic Startup Partners: D.Nature, VisualCamp, and PiQuant
[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Yoon-joo] The Korea International Trade Association announced that three companies, including Piequent, were finally selected as collaboration partners of L'Or?al, a famous French cosmetics company, during a recent one-on-one video meetup between L'Or?al and domestic tech startups.
On the 12th, L'Or?al held an online meetup with full participation from its headquarters in France, Asia-Pacific branch, and L'Or?al Korea officials to find promising startups for collaboration in three areas: ▲consumer experience (virtual reality, augmented reality, etc.), ▲products (biotechnology, eco-friendly technology, etc.), and ▲operations (3D printing, Internet of Things, etc.).
Among 113 domestic startups, the three selected by L'Or?al were Dnature, which has natural ingredient extraction technology; VisualCamp, which provides eye-tracking solutions; and Piequent, which offers spectroscopy-based ingredient detection and analysis solutions. These three companies and L'Or?al will continue discussions for cooperation in technology licensing, product purchasing, investment, and joint solution development.
