Yeonggwang County Council Closes the 247th Extraordinary Session
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Jeon Seong] The Yeonggwang County Council in Jeollanam-do (Chairman Kang Pil-gu) closed the ‘247th Extraordinary Session’ held from the 4th to the 18th.
During this extraordinary session, the Budget and Accounts Special Committee (Chairman Ha Gi-eok, Secretary Kim Byeong-won) handled the first supplementary budget bill for this year and the fund operation change plan for this year.
The total first supplementary budget for this year amounted to 596.2 billion won, an increase of 82.3 billion won compared to the original budget.
Among the expenditure budget, 1.09 billion won was cut from four projects including the construction of a small movie theater, and the fund operation change plan for this year was approved as originally proposed.
The Council Operation Committee (Chairman Park Yeon-suk) handled one case of the ‘Partial Amendment to the Yeonggwang County Council Members’ Code of Conduct Ordinance,’ the Autonomy and Administration Committee (Chairman Lim Young-min) handled 22 cases including the ‘Ordinance on Fair Subcontracting and Win-Win Cooperation,’ and the Industry and Construction Committee (Chairman Jang Young-jin) handled 16 cases including the partial amendment to the ordinance on the operation of the Citizen Happiness Taxi and support for users.
