In this extraordinary session, a special budget and accounts committee (Chairman Kim Yongmun) will be formed to review and approve the second supplementary budget bill submitted by Jangsu County this year, totaling 39.6 billion KRW (35.5 billion KRW in the general account and 4.1 billion KRW in the special account), aimed at overcoming the COVID-19 crisis and revitalizing the local economy.
Additionally, a special committee for the first half of the year’s major county projects on-site investigation (Chairman Na Geumnye) will be organized to identify issues or areas for improvement and development in major projects promoted by Jangsu County through field surveys, ensuring substantial and solid county administration.

In his opening remarks, Kim Jongmun, Chairman of the Jangsu County Council, said, “The necessary budget to overcome the damage caused by COVID-19 will be actively reviewed from the perspective of the residents, serving as an opportunity to revive the stagnant local economy and provide practical support to the residents.” He added, “Please actively practice social distancing in daily life until we are completely free from COVID-19.”
