On the afternoon of the 11th, at the National Assembly Members' Office Building in Yeouido, Seoul, during the "April 15 General Election Suspicion Investigation and Restoration of National Sovereignty Rally," Min Kyung-wook, a member of the United Future Party, claimed that a large number of proportional voting ballots were found unmarked and without the election supervisor's seal. View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Ga-yeon] Min Kyung-wook, a member of the Future United Party who has raised suspicions of manipulation in the April 15 general election early voting, criticized party members who do not agree with his claims, saying, "Do you not have the courage, loyalty, and guts to rightfully protect what is yours?"
On the 16th, Min posted on his Facebook, saying, "Do right-wing politicians lack understanding and imagination, so they are not even confident about this election fraud incident?"
He added, "Moreover, leftists protect even those who have committed crimes if they are on their side."
Earlier, on the 11th, Min held a "April 15 General Election Suspicion Truth Investigation and National Sovereignty Restoration Rally" at the National Assembly, claiming, "There are early voting proportional representation ballots found in bulk without being marked."
On that day, Min presented six proportional representation ballots as evidence of fraudulent counting. He argued that in early voting, ballots are printed each time a voter arrives, so no extra ballots should exist, and that "the mere possession of ballots is evidence of manipulation."
In response, the Central Election Commission issued a press release on the 12th, stating that the ballots disclosed by Min were confirmed to have been leaked from the Guri City Election Commission in Gyeonggi Province, and that they have requested an investigation by the Supreme Prosecutors' Office.
The Central Election Commission explained, "The ballots in question are proportional representation election ballots stamped by the Guri City Election Commission official seal," and "Upon verification, six ballots were lost from the remaining ballots of the 2nd polling district in Sutaek 2-dong, Guri City, and the serial numbers of the lost ballots match those of the ballots presented on site."
