Hanul Nuclear Power Plant Supports 'Automated External Defibrillators' at Senior Centers in Villages Near Nuclear Power Plant

Hanul Nuclear Power Headquarters announced on the 15th that it signed a business agreement with the village chiefs' council to support automated external defibrillators (AEDs) to prevent sudden death caused by cardiac arrest among residents of four villages, including Buk-myeon, around the nuclear power plant.
Hanul Nuclear Power Plant installed AEDs in a total of 70 village senior centers, including 28 villages in Buk-myeon, 15 villages in Jukbyeon, and 27 villages in Euljin, by investing 160 million KRW to prepare for emergencies involving elderly people visiting village halls or senior centers.

Lee Jong-ho, head of Hanul Nuclear Power Headquarters, said, "We judged that automated external defibrillators are essential equipment to save cardiac arrest patients who may occur in senior centers," and added, "We will do our best to prevent safety accidents among local residents in daily life as well."
