Jeonnam Fire Headquarters Develops and Operates '119 Dispatch Notification Service'
Real-time Check of Dispatch Vehicle Routes and Estimated Arrival Times... Guidance on Response Measures for Different Situations
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Yoon Jamin] Reporters who requested help from 119 in emergency situations in the Jeonnam region will now be able to check the location and arrival time of dispatch vehicles in real time.
The Jeonnam Fire Headquarters (Chief Ma Jaeyoon) announced on the 14th that it has developed and is operating the '119 Dispatch Notification Service.'
The 119 Dispatch Notification Service has been improved from a one-way service that sends dispatch status via text message to the reporter, to a two-way service that allows the reporter to check the movement route of the dispatch vehicle in real time.
The reporter can conveniently use the service without installing a separate app by simply clicking the mobile webpage address sent via text message.
Through a mobile map, the reporter can check the location and estimated arrival time of the dispatched fire vehicle in real time.
Other key features include AED (Automated External Defibrillator) location information centered around the accident site and emergency call support functions for 119, 112, and 110.
In particular, emergency treatment instructions (such as cardiopulmonary resuscitation and fire extinguisher usage) by accident type are also provided, enabling the reporter to voluntarily respond to emergencies according to the emergency treatment manual.
