Military Mutual Aid Association Holds Ethics Management Committee Meeting with Integrity Citizen Auditors

View original imageThe Ethical Management Committee and Integrity Citizen Auditors, composed of external integrity experts, exchanged opinions on the effective implementation of anti-corruption and integrity policies and the spread of an ethical organizational culture at the Military Mutual Aid Association Hall on the 11th. This was the first time that the separately operated ‘Ethical Management Committee’ and ‘Integrity Citizen Auditor Meeting’ were integrated and held together.
Choi Hak-gyun, an Integrity Citizen Auditor of the Military Mutual Aid Association, suggested, “Ethical management and integrity policies are completed through the empathy and participation of executives and employees,” and added, “Integrity should be embraced with the mindset that it is the ‘pride of the Military Mutual Aid Association’.”
On this day, the Integrity Citizen Auditors selected ‘Cheongnyeom Deoham’ as the ethical management brand of the Military Mutual Aid Association. It means adding integrity not only to work but also to daily life. The brand name was chosen through the participation of executives and employees, with a total of 75 brand names submitted, and preference evaluations were conducted through anonymous surveys to maintain objectivity. The selected ethical management brand ‘Cheongnyeom Deoham’ will be used in various contents to promote an integrity culture.
Kim Jin-hyung, Standing Auditor of the Military Mutual Aid Association who presided over the meeting, explained, “Leadership of managers must be prioritized to establish an anti-corruption culture,” and added, “We will strive to develop systems and policies in line with the times and create a clean and healthy Military Mutual Aid Association.”

Meanwhile, the Military Mutual Aid Association signed a business agreement with the Korea Transparency Organization, a civilian group in the field of anti-corruption and integrity activities, last year and has been promoting a more advanced anti-corruption system through external experts by additionally appointing Integrity Citizen Auditors.
