Movie 'Emergency Declaration' Cranks In This Month... Finalizing a Star-Studded Cast

Director Han Jae-rim's new film Emergency Declaration has completed its star-studded casting and will begin filming later this month. Distributor Showbox announced on the 12th that the movie features Song Kang-ho, Lee Byung-hun, Jeon Do-yeon, Kim Nam-gil, Im Si-wan, Kim So-jin, and Park Hae-joon. Emergency Declaration is an aviation disaster film that deals with events unfolding around an airplane facing an unprecedented catastrophe. The title, Emergency Declaration, refers to the emergency situation in which the aircraft captain declares an unconditional landing due to the impossibility of normal operation.

Song Kang-ho plays a detective pursuing the aviation disaster, while Lee Byung-hun portrays a passenger on the plane with his daughter. Jeon Do-yeon and Kim Nam-gil depict a minister and a co-pilot striving to prevent the disaster, respectively. Im Si-wan plays a passenger boarding the plane alone, Kim So-jin is a flight attendant, and Park Hae-joon portrays the head of the Blue House Crisis Management Center. The production is handled by Woozoo Film.
