US Drama 'Snowpiercer' Was a Prequel to Bong Joon-ho's Film
Netflix Release on the 25th
The drama of the same name (10 episodes), based on the movie "Snowpiercer" (2013), will be released on Netflix on the 25th.
Netflix announced this information on the 11th and released a teaser trailer. Judging by the plot alone, it is a prequel to the movie of the same name directed by Bong Joon-ho. A murder occurs on a train carrying the last of humanity, running for seven years. A man from the tail section, who is drafted to solve the case, becomes entangled in various incidents after discovering a huge secret that concerns everyone's survival. The movie, released seven years ago, dealt with a riot on the train running for 17 years. Since the events in the drama take place 10 years before the movie, it suggests that this drama leads up to the tragic ending.
