[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Dong-wook] Gyeongsangbuk-do announced on the 11th that it has posted the '2020 First Half Integrated Recruitment Plan' for selecting 54 new employees to work at 14 public institutions under its jurisdiction on the provincial government and each institution's websites.
The major institutions' recruitment scale includes 3 positions at Gyeongsangbuk-do Development Corporation, 4 at Gyeongbuk Culture and Tourism Corporation, 6 at Gyeongbuk Bio Industry Research Institute, 6 at Korea National Institute of Korean Studies, 10 at Gyeongbuk Cultural Foundation, and 7 at East Sea Industry Research Institute.
Gyeongbuk Province plans to select up to three times the number of candidates for the first written exam, followed by a second document screening and a third interview, with the final successful candidates to be announced in August. The written exam, held on July 18, consists of one common subject, the NCS Basic Vocational Competency Assessment (50 questions), and two major subjects (40 questions) tailored to the recruitment field.
Previously, the written exam was conducted by the provincial government and interviews by each recruiting institution separately, but from this year, the interview process will be integrated into a unified system. In particular, an English proficiency test has been introduced as a basic eligibility requirement to comprehensively assess English language skills.
Applicants wishing to apply can submit their documents by accessing the Gyeongbuk Province Public Institution Online Application Center website from June 8 to 12.
