3 Confirmed Cases from Itaewon Club Visit Shinchon Club... "Accurately Identifying Number of Close Contacts"
[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Park Hee-eun] It has been confirmed that three COVID-19 positive cases related to Itaewon clubs in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, visited a club located in Sinchon, Seodaemun-gu. In response, Seodaemun-gu has begun identifying the exact number of close contacts.
According to the Seodaemun Public Health Center on the 9th, the three foreign positive cases from Yongsan-gu visited the 'Damotori5' club located in Sinchon-dong, Seodaemun-gu, from the 3rd to the 5th of this month.
They stayed at the club from 9:40 PM on the 3rd until 3:00 AM on the 4th. Afterwards, they revisited the same club from 11:00 PM on the 4th until 3:00 AM on the 5th.
Previously, these positive cases were infected with COVID-19 at King Club, which was visited by patient A, the 66th confirmed case in Yongin City, on the 2nd.
They visited King Club and the nearby pub Queen from midnight on the 2nd until 7:00 AM on the 3rd. Then, at 7:30 AM, they went to a nearby fast-food restaurant before returning home at 8:30 AM.
On the 3rd, they again visited the same club from midnight until 6:00 AM on the 4th. They stopped by a fast-food restaurant at 6:30 AM and returned home at 8:30 AM.
Seodaemun-gu, which disclosed the movement paths, stated, "Those who visited Damotori5 (club) from May 3rd to May 5th are advised to refrain from going out and contact for two weeks and to visit their local public health center for a COVID-19 test if symptoms develop."
