Launch of the 'Digital Reporters Corps'

Recently, Chonnam National University held an inauguration ceremony for the ‘Chonnam National University Digital Press Corps,’ where enrolled students create and upload YouTube content about the university, and awarded appointment letters and press IDs to 11 student reporters.
The Digital Press Corps produces news content and school life V-log videos from the students’ perspective and posts them on YouTube, fostering digital creativity while delivering campus news.
President Jung Byung-seok said, “Experiencing the unprecedented ‘COVID-19’ pandemic has necessitated many changes and innovations not only in the university system but also in university promotion,” adding, “I look forward to the Digital Press Corps demonstrating their capabilities and hope they take this opportunity to develop their lives through creative activities as student reporters.”
