LH Begins Establishment of District Plan for Incheon Gyeyang Technovalley Public Housing District
[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo In-ho] LH announced on the 6th that it has begun establishing the district plan for the Incheon Gyeyang Techno Valley Public Housing District, a 3rd phase new town.
LH appointed a total of 11 people across 9 fields, including former Cheongwoon University professor Jin Young-hwan, as the Master Planner (MP) for the Incheon Gyeyang Techno Valley Public Housing District.
At the recent MP kickoff meeting, related organizations such as the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport's Public Land Planning Division, Incheon Metropolitan City, Gyeyang District Office, and Incheon Urban Corporation attended to discuss mutual cooperation plans for the successful development of the new town and the establishment of a district plan tailored to regional characteristics.
MP meetings will be held twice a month until the district plan approval application is submitted. The meetings will specifically review and discuss major topics such as development concepts, development plans, urban spatial structure, housing construction plans, parks and green spaces, pedestrian routes, and transportation systems.
To establish a regionally customized district plan, local governments and related organizations such as local public corporations will continuously participate in MP meetings.
