Jeonnam National University Hospital Bowling Club Donates Funds to Help Underprivileged Children
Annual Donations to the 'Children's Foundation' Since 2008
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] The Bowling Club of Chonnam National University Hospital (President Jo Yeon-gyu) raised and donated funds to help children from vulnerable families who are struggling due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic.
According to Chonnam National University Hospital on the 31st, the Bowling Club recently delivered 1.32 million won to the Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation Gwangju Regional Headquarters (Director Kim Eun-young) at the meeting room of Hwasun Chonnam National University Hospital.
The donation will be used to distribute "safety kits" containing hygiene products such as hand sanitizers and food supplies for children from vulnerable groups.
The Bowling Club has been collecting donations from its members annually since 2008 and donating them to the Children’s Foundation. The total amount donated to date reaches 8.5 million won.

Meanwhile, the Chonnam National University Hospital Bowling Club has demonstrated outstanding skills, winning the overall championship for three consecutive years and placing for four consecutive years at the national competition for public university hospitals last year, based on strong unity and solid training.
