View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Jonggil Lee] The Sejong Institute Foundation announced on the 31st that it will launch the 'Online Sejong Institute' in response to the global spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19). This measure was devised as more than half of the 180 Sejong Institutes in 60 countries have temporarily closed. The platform allows learners to study Korean and continue the dissemination of Korean language and culture via the internet without restrictions of time and place.
The 'Online Sejong Institute' was developed as a web service and mobile app, considering the diverse access environments of learners. Starting from the 1st of next month, lectures will be conducted either live or recorded. Detailed information such as the education schedule can be found on each institute's website.
