LG CNS "Only Employees Wearing Masks Allowed Through with AI Function"
Added Temperature Detection Feature
[Asia Economy Reporter Jin-gyu Lee] LG CNS announced on the 26th that it has introduced a service at some entrance doors of its Seoul Magok headquarters that uses artificial intelligence (AI) facial recognition technology to allow only employees wearing masks to pass through.
The system focuses on analyzing the features around the eyes and nose to distinguish individuals using AI facial recognition technology, verifying employee identity while also determining whether a mask is being worn.
If a mask is not worn or is only hanging on the chin or mouth, a message saying "Please wear a mask" is displayed and the gate does not open. Additionally, a thermal detection function has been added, preventing entry if the body temperature is 37.3 degrees Celsius or higher.
