KAMCO Hosts Onbid User Experience Contest
[Asia Economy Reporter Kwon Haeyoung] Korea Asset Management Corporation (KAMCO) announced on the 23rd that it will hold the '2020 Onbid Usage Essay Contest' for the next 8 weeks until May.
The Onbid Usage Essay Contest was prepared to share with the public the experiences and utilization cases of bidding and winning public assets through Onbid, an online public asset disposal system operated by KAMCO. The essay contest topics include ▲ Onbid bidding experiences and know-how ▲ Utilization cases of won items such as startups and financial technology ▲ Successful cases of public asset leasing and sales by member institutions.
Any individual or corporation who is a general member of Onbid can participate. Detailed information can be found on the KAMCO website or Onbid announcements.
The results will be announced on the Onbid website in June, and a total of 21 works will be selected and awarded a total of 4.7 million KRW: ▲ Grand Prize 1 work (700,000 KRW) ▲ Excellence Award 2 works (500,000 KRW each) ▲ Merit Award 6 works (300,000 KRW each) ▲ Encouragement Award 12 works (100,000 KRW each). Small gifts will also be provided for submissions that meet certain requirements.
The winning entries of this contest will be produced into various contents such as webtoons, card news, and videos to promote Onbid to the public in a more familiar form.

Namgung Young, Head of KAMCO's Public Development Headquarters, said, "Through this contest, we hope that various Onbid usage experiences, such as public asset utilization cases and Onbid winning know-how, will spread and be shared," and added, "We will continue to discover and share Onbid utilization cases that are practically helpful to public auction investors."
