The Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters for COVID-19 stated in the regular briefing on the afternoon of the day, "Among the 98 new confirmed cases yesterday (21st), 15 cases were related to overseas importation, accounting for 15.3% of the total." Of these, 8 cases entered Korea from Europe, 3 from the United States, and 1 each from Canada, the Philippines, and Iran, with 1 case having traveled through Colombia and the United States.
Kwon Jun-wook, Deputy Director of the Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters, urged, "Please postpone or cancel non-urgent overseas travel, and if you have suspicious symptoms upon entry, voluntarily report to quarantine officers or install the self-quarantine management application, and comply with special entry procedures."
