[Asia Economy Reporter Park Byung-hee] The National Ballet announced on the 20th that it will cancel the performance of "Anna Karenina," which was scheduled to be held at the Opera Theater of the Seoul Arts Center from April 22 to 26.
The National Ballet explained that this decision was made to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and ensure safety amid the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic.
Previously, the National Ballet also canceled the first regular performances of the 2020 season, "Swan Lake" and "Hoye Rang."

The National Ballet stated that it believes the cancellation decision will play an important role in preventing the spread of COVID-19 and hopes that the pandemic will end soon so that all citizens can regain their ordinary and healthy daily lives.
