Shinhan Card Launches Digital ARS Service... "Start Consultation by Entering Card PIN"
90% of Existing Counselor Response Tasks Possible
[Asia Economy Reporter Ki Ha-young] Shinhan Card is launching a 'Digital ARS' service that automatically connects customers to the mobile homepage when they call the customer center. This structure allows customers to handle tasks on their own without guidance from a consultant.
Shinhan Card announced on the 19th that, in response to the recent spread of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) and the advent of the digital era, it has newly launched the Digital ARS and decided to utilize it for customer consultation tasks.
Shinhan Card's Digital ARS completes authentication simply by entering the four-digit card password held by the customer, enabling immediate consultation. Additionally, the main screen displays menus that customers frequently inquire about, making it easy to find the desired menu, and navigation between menus is flexible, allowing all desired tasks to be completed in a single session.
Furthermore, for customers who may be unfamiliar with digital consultation, a 'Connect to Consultant' floating button is placed so that if there are difficulties in use or detailed explanations are needed, customers can be connected directly to a consultant.

A Shinhan Card CS team official stated, "Through the newly launched Digital ARS, it is expected to cover up to 90% of the tasks previously handled by consultants," adding, "We will continue to lead customer consultation innovation in line with Shinhan Financial Group's digital transformation management strategy."
