Boseong-gun Receives Positive Feedback for Heated Bus Stop Seats
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Yong-cheol] Boseong-gun, Jeonnam, has received favorable reviews from residents for its heated seats at bus stops, which began operation at the end of January as a warm field administration initiative.
According to Boseong-gun on the 19th, the county installed 26 heated seats (14 locations) at bus stops in some areas with high foot traffic, such as markets and station fronts, last year.
With positive feedback from residents using the heated seats at bus stops, the county plans to expand this to all towns and townships to enhance convenience for all public transportation users.
A county official said, “The response from residents to the heated seats has been very positive,” adding, “We will continue to research and develop various policies to consider public transportation users and improve convenience.”
