[Asia Economy Reporter Jo In-kyung] The total number of confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) in Seoul has reached 231. Among them, 109 confirmed cases are related to the Guro-gu call center, including those in Seoul, Gyeonggi, and Incheon.
On the morning of the 13th, Seoul Mayor Park Won-soon held a briefing at the Guro-gu Public Health Center and stated, "As of 10 a.m., there are 109 confirmed cases related to the cluster infection at the Korea Building call center in Guro-gu, including 74 in Seoul, 18 in Gyeonggi, and 17 in Incheon."
All of these cases involve call center employees and their families. The number of confirmed cases in Seoul remains the same as the previous day, but additional confirmed cases have been reported in Gyeonggi and Incheon, increasing the total from 102 as of 10 a.m. the previous day by 7. Meanwhile, the total number of COVID-19 confirmed cases in the Seoul area has increased by 12 from the previous day to 231. Among these, 17 are residents of other regions who were tested and confirmed in Seoul.
