Busan Adds 2 More COVID-19 Cases, Total Reaches 94... 28 Recovered
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Jonghyo] Two additional confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) have been reported in Busan, bringing the total to 94.
According to Busan City, as of 10 a.m. on the 12th, the number of additional confirmed COVID-19 cases in Busan increased by two compared to the previous day. They are two men: case number 93, born in 1977 (Haeundae-gu), and case number 94, born in 1972 (Dongnae-gu).
Case number 93 has four family members, including a younger brother living in Daegu, who were confirmed positive for COVID-19. He moved to Busan around February for a part-time job and is currently receiving isolation treatment at Busan Medical Center.
Case number 94 is a resident of Yongin, Gyeonggi-do. While on a business trip to Busan, he developed suspicious symptoms on the 11th, underwent a COVID-19 test, and was confirmed positive. He is currently waiting for a hospital bed to be admitted.

Accordingly, the number of COVID-19 patients currently receiving treatment in Busan is 66, excluding 28 recovered patients. Among them, 47 are hospitalized at Busan Medical Center, 11 at Busan National University Hospital, 4 at Busan Paik Hospital, 1 at Haeundae Paik Hospital, 1 at Dong-A University Hospital, and 1 at Kosin University Hospital, while 1 patient is waiting for a hospital bed.
