Sejong-si, 2 More COVID-19 Cases Confirmed Including Ministry of Education Officials... Total 17 (Update)
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heung-soon] On the 11th, two additional confirmed cases of COVID-19 were reported among Ministry of Education officials in Sejong City. The number of cases in the region has increased to 17.
According to Sejong Special Self-Governing City Hall, a man in his 50s working at the Government Complex Sejong under the Ministry of Education tested positive for COVID-19 that afternoon. This man is a family member of patient number 11, a teenage female who was confirmed positive that morning.
The other confirmed case is a woman in her 40s, who is a family member of patient number 15, a man in his 50s working at the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries, confirmed positive that morning. So far, the confirmed cases among Government Complex Sejong employees include 4 from the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries, 1 from the Ministry of Health and Welfare, 1 from the Presidential Archives, and 1 from the Ministry of Education, totaling 7 people.
