44th COVID-19 Death in Daegu: Male Dementia Patient in His 80s

The Daegu city government announced that an 87-year-old male, Mr. A, who was receiving treatment at Daegu Medical Center, passed away at 8:20 a.m. on the 11th. He is the 44th victim in Daegu and the 63rd victim nationwide due to COVID-19.
Mr. A was tested for COVID-19 infection at Dalseo-gu Public Health Center in Daegu on the 2nd and was confirmed positive two days later on the 4th. On the 6th, he visited the emergency room at Kyungpook National University Hospital in Chilgok, Gyeongbuk, due to symptoms such as difficulty breathing and general weakness, and was transferred to Daegu Medical Center the following day.
