[Asia Economy Reporter Han Jinju] LG Uplus is recruiting the 6th generation of 'Yudaegam,' a university student emotional supporter group that creates digital content and promotes the brand.
On the 9th, LG Uplus announced that it is recruiting the 6th generation of Yudaegam, which promotes its brand, until the 31st of this month. Yudaegam is an abbreviation of 'Uplus University Student Emotional Supporters,' a university student external activity program that started in October 2017.
Yudaegam creates SNS content based on LG Uplus's differentiated services and free themes, and promotes them through ▲Instagram ▲LG Uplus official YouTube channel ▲LG Uplus official blog ▲Yudaegam official Post, among others.
The 6th generation of Yudaegam is open to any domestic university students, on leave or studying abroad, who have a public Instagram account. Preference is given to university students with SNS content planning and production capabilities or those with experience or skills in video production and filming. The total number of recruits is 00. Applicants should refer to the Yudaegam 6th generation recruitment post on the LG Uplus Yudaegam official Naver Post by the 31st, fill out the online application form on Naver, and submit it along with a preliminary mission.
LG Uplus will announce the interview candidates on April 3, conduct interviews on the 10th, and announce the final successful candidates on the 13th. The selected 6th generation Yudaegam will start activities with an inauguration ceremony held at LG Uplus Yongsan headquarters on April 17 and continue for six months until October. The interview and inauguration schedules may change depending on the COVID-19 situation.
Selected Yudaegam members will receive a monthly activity allowance of 200,000 KRW per person. During the activity period, they will receive practical training in content planning and production, mentoring from professionals, and opportunities to participate in LG Uplus brand events. After the activity ends, all participants will be awarded an official certificate of completion, and outstanding performers and teams will receive separate awards.
The 5th generation of Yudaegam (18 members), who were active for six months from last October, produced videos and card news on topics such as LG Uplus services, technology knowledge and trends, and youth lifestyle. They participated in content planning and production with a fresh perspective unique to university students, publishing 25 video contents on the LG Uplus official YouTube channel and card news on new technology topics such as smart cities and artificial intelligence (AI) services.
