[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyemin] Former Ambassador to China Kwon Young-se won the primary election in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, and received the nomination certificate on the 7th. Park Myung-jae, a member of the National Assembly from Nam-gu, Pohang, Gyeongbuk, and Ulleung, was excluded from the nomination. Kim Jae-won, who was cut off in Gyeongbuk, moved his constituency to Jungnang-eul, Seoul, and will compete in the primary election there.
Kim Hyung-oh, the Future United Party's nomination management committee chairman, held a briefing after the committee meeting at the National Assembly on the same day and announced the nomination results with these details.
In Yongsan-gu, where the primary was held on the 5th and 6th, former Ambassador to China Kwon Young-se's nomination was confirmed. In Uijeongbu-si-eul, Gyeonggi Province, Lee Hyung-seop, former Liberty Korea Party Uijeongbu-si-eul party committee chairman, won the primary and secured the nomination. In Seocho-eul, Seoul, Representative Park Sung-joong and former Representative Kang Seok-hoon tied in the primary results, so a re-primary will be held.
Yang Ju-sang, former student council president of Sungkyunkwan University, was given priority recommendation in Gwangmyeong-si-gap, Gyeonggi Province. Kim Yong-sik, vice chairman of the youth division of the Korean Party Central Committee, was strategically nominated in Namyangju-si-eul, Gyeonggi Province.
In Jungnang-gu-gap, Seoul, Kim Sam-hwa, a former member of the Bareunmirae Party and part of the Ahn Cheol-soo faction, was recommended as the sole candidate. In Wonju-si-gap, Gangwon Province, where former Gangwon Governor Lee Kwang-jae of the Democratic Party declared his candidacy, Park Jeong-ha, former Blue House Press Secretary, was recommended as the sole candidate. Park Soon-ja was nominated in Danwon-gu-eul, Ansan-si, Gyeonggi Province, and Hong Jang-pyo, former member of the National Assembly, received the nomination certificate in Sangnok-gu-eul, Ansan-si, Gyeonggi Province. Park Dae-chul was nominated in Jinju-si-gap, Gyeongnam Province.
Additionally, the following were recommended as sole candidates: Ju Dong-sik, representative of the Regional Equality Citizens' Coalition in Seo-gu, Gwangju; Lee Soo-jin, former visiting professor at Jeonju University in Jeonju-si-eul, Jeonbuk Province; and Choi Gong-jae, film director from Naju-si and Hwasun-gun, Jeonnam Province.
Park Myung-jae, member of the National Assembly representing Nam-gu, Pohang-si, and Ulleung-gun, Gyeongbuk Province, was excluded from this nomination decision. In this area, former National Assembly member Kim Byung-wook's aide and Moon Chung-woon, member of the Media Special Committee, will compete in the primary.
Kim Jae-won, who was cut off in Sangju, Gunwi, Uiseong, and Cheongsong constituencies in Gyeongbuk, will compete against former Representative Yoon Sang in Jungnang-eul, Seoul. In Jung-gu and Seongdong-gap, Seoul, Representative Kang Hyo-sang, former JoongAng Ilbo editorial writer Kim Jin, and former Minister of Health and Welfare Jin Soo-hee will compete in the primary. In Buk-gu, Pohang-si, Gyeongbuk, Representative Kim Jeong-jae will face former Chosun Ilbo editorial writer Kang Hoon.

Additionally, the following areas were decided as primary election districts: Hwaseong-si-byeong, Gyeonggi Province (Seok Ho-hyun and Im Myung-bae) and Yongin-si-eul, Gyeonggi Province (Kim Jun-yeon and Lee Won-seop).
