According to Gwangsan-gu on the 6th, around 5 p.m. the previous day, a man wearing a mask handed an envelope and a paper bag to the civil service window at the Usan-dong Administrative Welfare Center in Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju.
The man, estimated to be in his 40s, reportedly hurriedly left the Administrative Welfare Center after saying he wanted to make a donation.
The envelope contained 500,000 won in cash, and the paper bag held 13 protective masks.
The district plans to respect the donor's wishes and use the items for the health-vulnerable groups.
