According to Gwangsan-gu on the 6th, around 5 p.m. the previous day, a man wearing a mask handed an envelope and a paper bag to the civil service window at the Usan-dong Administrative Welfare Center in Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju.
The man, estimated to be in his 40s, reportedly hurriedly left the Administrative Welfare Center after saying he wanted to make a donation.
The envelope contained 500,000 won in cash, and the paper bag held 13 protective masks.
The district plans to respect the donor's wishes and use the items for the health-vulnerable groups.

An official from Usan-dong said, "When everyone is struggling due to the mask shortage, the heart of sharing masks that he himself would use naturally makes us bow our heads," adding, "We will honor the donor's intention and use it carefully where it is most needed."
