On the 6th, Daesun Brewery announced that it has increased the donation volume of 'alcohol brewing raw materials,' which can be used for COVID-19 disinfection purposes, to a total of 100 tons, including the initial donation amount.
Since the 28th of last month, Daesun Brewery has been donating diluted alcohol brewing raw materials, made from distilled spirits for liquor production, to 16 district and county offices under the jurisdiction of Busan Metropolitan City. The alcohol brewing raw materials donated by Daesun Brewery are used for disinfection activities.
Daesun Brewery stated that after news of the alcohol brewing raw materials donation spread, requests for support have been coming in not only from Busan but also from other regional administrative agencies. Accordingly, Daesun Brewery held an emergency discussion and decided to donate additional alcohol brewing raw materials.
On the 5th, Daesun Brewery also delivered alcohol brewing raw materials to a naval military unit that had requested donations. Daesun Brewery explained that this was to support military personnel conducting disinfection activities to overcome the COVID-19 crisis, enabling them to carry out their duties smoothly.
