Seoul City Designates English Village Gangbuk Suyu Camp as Second Quarantine Facility

First Quarantine Facility Injae Development Center Exceeds Capacity
[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunju Lee] On the 4th, the Seoul Metropolitan Government announced that following the Talent Development Center, it has designated the Seoul English Village Gangbuk Suyu Camp as the second quarantine facility.
The English Village in Gangbuk-gu is a building with one basement floor and three above-ground floors, containing 126 accommodations. Of these, only 100 rooms will be used as quarantine facilities.
Currently, at the Talent Development Center, 25 people are housed out of 30 rooms, exceeding its capacity.
At the English Village Suyu Camp, similar to the Talent Development Center, facility quarantine support is provided for those under self-quarantine who do not have independent living spaces or whose families are at risk of infection.

Professional medical staff and administrative personnel are stationed on-site, completely separating the movement paths of the general public and quarantined individuals, while conducting 24-hour monitoring. Through an on-site control room, meal provision, medical diagnosis, and disinfection activities are also carried out.
