Hankook Tire Donates 500 Million Won to Prevent the Spread of COVID-19
[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] Hankook Tire & Technology (hereinafter Hankook Tire) announced on the 2nd that it will donate 500 million KRW to the Community Chest of Korea (Fruit of Love) to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) and minimize damage.
This donation was decided with the purpose of contributing to the nationwide social effort to prevent COVID-19 damage by supporting vulnerable groups such as low-income families who may be relatively more affected in the national crisis situation where COVID-19 shows signs of spreading nationwide.
The donated funds will be used to provide hygiene supplies such as masks and hand sanitizers to vulnerable groups including the elderly, disabled, and low-income families to prevent the spread of COVID-19, and to support low-income groups facing difficulties due to economic activity contraction, minimizing secondary damage.
