Smilegate Grants All Employees 3 Days of Paid Leave
[Asia Economy Reporter Buaeri] Smilegate is implementing paid leave for all employees to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
Smilegate announced on the 27th that it will conduct a 'paid special leave' from the 2nd to the 6th of next month. Each team will autonomously divide into groups and take three days off in rotation.
A Smilegate representative said, "This is to minimize contact among members and prevent infection."
Meanwhile, NCSoft also implemented special paid leave for all employees from the 26th of last month to the 2nd of next month. Nexon and Netmarble have also switched to a work-from-home system.
Nexon decided to switch all employees to a work-from-home system from the 27th to the 2nd of next month, except for the minimum staff required for on-site work. They plan to implement work-from-home for three days first and then decide whether to extend it.

Netmarble also announced, "All Netmarble Company employees will enter temporary work-from-home from the 27th to the 2nd of next month." The response after work-from-home will be decided through the COVID-19 task force (TF).
