View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kang Sharon] Changwon City announced on the 27th that Jo Young-jin (50·photo), Senior Administrative Officer of the Presidential Secretariat's Office for Local Autonomy Development, will be appointed as the 1st Deputy Mayor (Grade 2).
Deputy Mayor Jo served as a Planning Officer and Information Disclosure Act Officer at the Ministry of the Interior and Safety's Planning and Coordination Office, Financial City Officer and Seoul Design Headquarters Manager at Seoul City, Performance Customer Officer at the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, and Head of Local Tax Policy Division at the Ministry of the Interior and Safety's Local Finance and Economy Office. Since 2017, he has served as Senior Administrative Officer at the Presidential Secretariat's Office for Local Autonomy Development.
Deputy Mayor Jo said, "I feel infinite honor and heavy responsibility to work as the 1st Deputy Mayor of 'People-Centered New Changwon' with a population of 1.05 million," adding, "I will assist Mayor Heo Seong-moo's policies and do my best on the ground to properly respond to the current crisis caused by COVID-19."
