Kumho Art Hall Yonsei Cancels Planned Performances Until the 8th of Next Month
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Byung-hee] Kumho Art Hall Yonsei announced on the 25th that it will cancel the planned performances scheduled until the 8th of next month.
The Kumho Asiana Cultural Foundation explained, "As the alert level for the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) has been raised to 'severe,' we prioritize the safety of the audience and artists and will cancel the planned performances scheduled for the next two weeks."
Accordingly, the Beautiful Thursday Concert series performances, 'Three Cities Story: Cello (Cello Kim Doo-min, Piano Kim Tae-hyung, February 27)' and 'Ensemble Road - Lux Trio (March 5)' have been canceled.
The Kumho Young Talent Concerts 'Jang Han-sae Piano Recital (February 29)' and 'Kim Yoon-woo Double Bass Recital (March 7),' as well as the Kumho Young Artist Concerts 'Noh Hyun-jin Piano Recital (February 29)' and 'Hong Se-hee Cello Recital (March 7)' are also scheduled to be canceled. These performances will be rescheduled and staged again during 2020-2021.

Kumho Art Hall Yonsei also stated that for rental performances by external groups and performers, which are not planned performances, full refunds of rental fees will be provided if canceled. Additionally, upon performers' requests, they are preparing measures to continue performances safely by holding 'no-audience performances' and live streaming them online.
