View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] The Korea Women Entrepreneurs Association (hereinafter referred to as KWEA) announced on the 25th that it held a 'Product Evaluation Meeting for Selecting Participating Companies in Public Shopping' as part of the TV home shopping entry support project.
The support project is a representative domestic sales channel support project for women-owned businesses by KWEA, which has supported the entry of 54 companies into home shopping over the past three years. This year, about 187 women-owned businesses applied over the course of about a month last month, and a total of 30 companies passed the document screening, including food (14), fashion clothing (4), kitchenware (4), household goods (3), beauty products (2), other goods (2), and bedding (1).
The product evaluation meeting held on the 24th at the first-floor conference room of KWEA in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, was judged based on home shopping suitability (customer needs, appeal points, broadcast demonstration, etc.), price, composition, marketability (price competitiveness, product composition, trends, etc.), and creativity and innovation (creativity, innovation).
The final selected companies are ▲‘DesignN’, which presented hotel-style bedding sets ▲‘Nothyang’, specializing in traditional method organic bowl manufacturing ▲‘Ace Life’, producing premium bidets ▲‘Trejal Collection’, selling luxury handbags made of Cayman crocodile leather ▲‘Bora Korea’, offering knit vest clothing targeting housewives in their 40s and 50s, among 15 companies and 5 preliminary companies.
