NongHyup Bank Launches 'Digital Experiment'... Opens Digital Finance Branch in Sejong City
Equipped with Over 30 Self-Service Work Support 'Digital Zone', 'Stay Zone', and 'Consulting Zone' Spaces
[Asia Economy Reporter Haeyoung Kwon] NH Nonghyup Bank has introduced its first digital branch equipped with three spaces for self-service banking, consultations, and relaxation.
On the 14th, Nonghyup Bank announced the opening of a new 'Digital Finance Branch' in Banggok-dong, Sejong Special Self-Governing City, to enhance customers' new digital experiences and convenience.
The Digital Finance Branch is Nonghyup Bank's first specialized branch established to implement digital finance. It consists of a 'Digital Zone' for quick transaction processing, a 'Stay Zone' with a comfortable and special waiting area, and a 'Consulting Zone' with private, independent consultation booths.
The Digital Zone introduces NH-Smart Teller Machines (STM) that allow customers to quickly handle tasks such as issuing new passbooks and check cards, OTP card issuance, and various notifications without waiting time, while lounge managers assist customers with using digital devices. The Stay Zone separates consultation and waiting areas, applying a unique design different from regular branches to create a comfortable relaxation space. The Consulting Zone provides professional and comfortable financial consultations in an independent space that ensures customer privacy. Through pre-booked consultations, customers can receive immediate service without waiting, enhancing convenience.
