Forecast, Expansion of 'Debt Information Inquiry Service' Provided
[Asia Economy Reporter Kwon Haeyoung] The Korea Deposit Insurance Corporation announced on the 13th that it will expand the 'Debt Information Inquiry Service,' which allows debtors of bankrupt financial companies to check their debt details through the KDIC website without a separate visit.
Starting from the 14th, KDIC plans to provide this service on 'Government24,' the integrated administrative service portal of the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, which has high public recognition.
Accordingly, when using Government24, it will be possible to inquire about KDIC's debt information along with various government and public institution services. Debtors who confirm their debt details can also receive guidance on debt adjustment plans through KDIC or the bankrupt financial companies.
