[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] Park Joo-sun, Chairman of the Grand Integration Reform Committee of the Bareunmirae Party, stated on the 12th regarding the position of Representative Sohn Hak-kyu, "Representative Sohn has agreed to step down from his position by the end of February."
On the afternoon of the same day, on CBS Radio's 'Sisa Jaki with Jung Kwan-yong,' Chairman Park said, "Right now, Representative Sohn is not preparing for the election under the Sohn Hak-kyu system," and added, "Since the integration with the future forces keeps being delayed and if it goes beyond February 28, we promised to stipulate in the party constitution that he will resign at that time."

Regarding the future forces, Chairman Park said, "We are negotiating behind the scenes, and they have requested that we do not speak publicly until their integration is complete," and added, "We understand that there are quite reliable people in the groups supporting from behind, such as Kim Jong-in, former Emergency Committee Chairman of the Democratic Party."
