94 New Deaths in Hubei Province in One Day... 1,068 Lives Lost in the Region (Update)
[Asia Economy Beijing=Special Correspondent Park Sun-mi] Within Hubei Province, China, the epicenter of the novel coronavirus outbreak, 94 additional deaths were reported in one day.
On the 12th, the Hubei Provincial Health Commission (Weiguanwi) announced that as of midnight, 1,638 new confirmed cases and 94 new deaths were reported within Hubei Province. Among the deaths, 72 occurred in Wuhan City.
The total number of confirmed cases in Hubei Province to date is 33,366. Wuhan City accounts for the highest number with 19,558 cases.

The cumulative death toll stands at 1,068, and 2,639 patients who were confirmed positive have been treated, recovered, and discharged. The fatality rate is calculated at 3.20%.
