According to the legal community on the 12th, the Supreme Prosecutors' Office transferred the case on the 11th to the Suwon District Prosecutors' Office. The case involves the Liberty Korea Party accusing Minister Choo of abuse of authority regarding the non-disclosure of the indictment in the Blue House's 'ordered investigation and election interference' suspicion case. The Suwon District Prosecutors' Office assigned the case to the Criminal Division 1 (Chief Prosecutor Kang Ji-seong), which specializes in human rights and advanced crimes.
It is known that the Supreme Prosecutors' Office initially considered assigning this accusation case to the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office. However, considering that a case related to Minister Choo's personnel affairs in the prosecution was already with the Suwon District Prosecutors' Office, they decided accordingly. The prosecution is expected to begin investigating the accuser as soon as they review the contents of the accusation.
Previously, members of the Liberty Korea Party on the National Assembly's Legislation and Judiciary Committee requested the Ministry of Justice to submit the indictment of the election interference suspicion case under the National Assembly Testimony and Inspection Act. However, Minister Choo cited the constitutional principle of presumption of innocence and submitted only a summary of the charges, not the full indictment, to the National Assembly. The policy is to keep all indictments confidential until the trial begins.
The case in which Minister Choo was accused due to the non-disclosure controversy of the indictment is also with the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office. This case, filed by civic groups such as 'Future Alternative Action,' is currently assigned to the Criminal Division 1 (Chief Prosecutor Jeong Jin-ung) of the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office.

This case is being handled by the Public Investigation Division of the Suwon District Prosecutors' Office.
