Gyeongbuk Province Implements Youth Job Support Program... Monthly Support of 2 Million KRW
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Ju Cheol-in] Gyeongbuk Province announced on the 5th that it will implement the 'Small and Medium Enterprise Youth Job Support Project' to provide quality jobs to young people and help companies hire talented personnel.
If a small or medium-sized enterprise newly hires a young person under the age of 39, it will provide support of 2 million KRW per month per person for two years. Support is available for up to three people per company, with the condition of full employment after the support period ends. This project, selected in July 2018 by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety's region-led youth job contest, has helped 990 young people find employment as of last year.
This year, an additional 200 people will be supported. The recruitment announcement for participating companies can be found on the Gyeongbuk Economic Promotion Agency website. The application period is until the 28th of this month.
