To proactively respond to infectious diseases, the county has provided infectious disease response supplies such as masks, hand sanitizers, and disinfectants to 2,500 multi-use facilities including vulnerable groups aged 65 and over, related organizations, medical and pharmaceutical businesses, lodging facilities, and restaurants, as well as about 1,000 companies in the Daebul Industrial Complex. It is also promoting preventive measures to ensure that the infectious disease does not spread.
In addition, since the 3rd, Jeon Dong-pyeong, the mayor of Yeongam-gun, along with health center staff, has been visiting sites such as village senior centers, Samho Heavy Industries?a densely populated area of foreign workers?Daebul Industrial Complex, and Hotel Hyundai to distribute masks, hand sanitizers, and disinfectants, while conducting infectious disease prevention education including adherence to personal hygiene rules to ensure thorough response to the infectious disease.
Furthermore, the county is doing its utmost to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus infection by distributing posters on cough etiquette and infectious disease prevention behavior guidelines, as well as infectious disease response supplies, to 200 locations including group facilities vulnerable to infection, terminals, sports facilities, elderly care facilities, and local daycare centers.
